Song of Songs 7

(1) Male:

“Your feet look so beautiful in those sandals! You truly are the daughter of an upperclassman. The curves of your hips are like an ornamental vase—a true work of art. Your belly button is carved out like a basin that’s never lacking fine wine. Your tummy is like a pile of flour fenced in by lilies. Your boobs are like two baby deer—twins of the same doe. Your neck is like a tower made of ivory. Your eyes are like pools in Heshbon by the Bath-rabbim gate. Your nose is like the tower in Lebanon that faces Damascus. Your head crowns the rest of your body like mount Carmel, and your hair is like royalty. The king is captivated by the way your hair flows. How lovely and beautiful you are, my love, with all your delights! Your figure is like a palm tree, with your boobs being the coconuts. ‘I want to climb up this tree and grab onto its produce,’ I told myself.

“Your boobs are like clusters of grapes on the vine, and your breath smells as sweet as apricots. Your mouth is like the finest of wines that goes down smoothly, gliding through my lips and lulling me to sleep.”

(10) Female:

“I belong to my lover, and I am wanted by him.

“Come, my love, let’s go out into the countryside and spend the night in the villages. Let’s wake up early and visit the vineyards. We can see if the vines are sprouting and if its blossoms have opened yet. Let’s check to see if the pomegranates are blooming. I’ll give you my love there. The mandrakes [which increase sex-drive] are giving off their fragrance. Our doors have all kinds of exquisite fruit around them, both old and new, which I’ve been saving up for you, my love.”
